We all have our dream home specifications formulated in our minds. A thousand ideas in a single family looking for a single house! This surely proves even your 12 year old child has suggestions to make while you make plans to buy a property. Funny, as it sounds, buying a home is a very important lifetime event for most of us. We invest our hard earned money in buying a house for ourselves that we can call as our ‘Home’. None of us are willing to risk investments which we plan to make for having a home.
What according to you is more important between amenities and location of the property? Don’t you feel you need to decide on your budget keeping in mind the priorities you have given to various aspects of having a property such as area/locality, builder/developer, the amenities that are offered in that property which may or may not match to your expectations and requirements, etc? Well, you are not wrong anywhere in having all of these questions and doubts while you have property on your mind! All you need to do is to make a list of your requirements in terms of the following:
- Location: whether the location of the apartment/villa is having outlets/shops which can provide you with your day to day basic requirements or not? It has sound frequency of public transport or not?
- Amenities: How many of your requirements are fulfilled by the amenities available in the property type you are looking for? If there are a few amenities which are not falling in your budget but are necessary for you then which other amenities you can compromise on to acquire the other more needed ones?
- Pricing: Is your budget thoughtfully planned considering all your needs and also the current rates of properties in the real estate industry? What makes you decide on to a property that fits in your budget?
All of these questions have answers within themselves. Once this list is ready you just need to set your priorities as to what you want and what you don’t. As it is said, well begun is half done, by having your priorities set you can cross half the hurdles in your way to own your own space to experience better living at a space you define as your “Home Sweet Home”.
